Where to get a shutter release cable for Pentax Spotmatic F?
Question by Iamverybroken: Where to get a shutter release cable for Pentax Spotmatic F?
Hey there, I was wondering if I can purchase one of the cables from ebay. Are some of those cables they sell compatible with many film cameras or will I need to get a specific cable for my Pentax Spotmatic F camera?
Thanks,

Virtually any standard “cable release” should work if memory serves; I think they’re pretty standard. You don’t even need to go to eBay; just hit any Wolf or Ritz or your local pro camera store to make sure it fits. Buying off eBay, the shipping costs will be more or as much as the cable release itself.

To: ISBN51499 The Pentax Spotmatic F is a 40 year old 35mm film camera, so why do you advise going to a website for digital items?.
To the asker: Take the best of your first 2 answerers replies. Shutter release cables for that type of camera are pretty standard equipment, available from any reputable camera shop that deals with film cameras as well as digital.
